• Account Information: When you sign in using Apple ID, Google, or Email, we collect your email address and basic profile information to create and authenticate your account.
• Pet Profile & Health Data: To generate accurate feeding plans, we collect data about your pets, including name, species (cat/dog), breed, age, neutered status, weight logs, feeding records, and visual Body Condition Score (BCS) assessments.
• Opt-In Photo Data: If you explicitly opt-in to help us improve our AI features, you may submit photos of your pets. All submitted photos are strictly anonymized, and all EXIF data (including location and metadata) is automatically stripped before upload.
• Usage Data: We use anonymized analytics tools to track App performance. These services may collect device identifiers solely for performance analysis, not for individual user profiling.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To calculate personalized daily feeding recommendations based on weight and BCS.
• To enable the "Household Collaboration" feature for invited family members.
• To process optional premium subscriptions via RevenueCat.
• To generate exportable Vet Reports (PDF/CSV) upon your request.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & OUR "NO-SELL" GUARANTEE

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We use trusted third-party services solely to operate the App:

• Supabase: For secure cloud database storage and user authentication.
• RevenueCat: For securely managing Pro version subscriptions and payments.
• Analytics Providers: For monitoring App performance and user behavior.

4. Data Storage and Security (GDPR Compliance)

We take data security seriously. For our European users, we aim to store your data on EU-based server nodes to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

• Right to Access & Export: You can request a copy of your personal data at any time.
• Right to Delete: You can delete your account and all associated pet data directly within the App settings.
• CCPA "Do Not Sell My Info": Paws & Pounds strictly complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not and will not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

Paws & Pounds is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK).

Paws & Pounds is a software tool designed to assist with pet weight management and does not constitute professional veterinary advice.

8. ADVERTISING AND PROFILING POLICY

Currently, Paws & Pounds is 100% Ad-Free. We do not display third-party advertisements or participate in advertising networks that track your behavior. We do not use your pet's health data to build marketing profiles for third-party vendors (such as pet food or insurance companies). Any future changes to our advertising practices will be reflected in an updated version of this policy and communicated to our users.
